Case Study : Stone Marine
This propeller was measured in an open area in Scotland, there were over 1.5 million scanned points taken into POLYWORKS which was then transformed into a polygonal mesh. This was then compared to a nominal Catia V5 model and visual error reports were created to enable the customer to understand initial manufacturing process capability and general usage ‘wear and tear’ at sea.
The Leica Absolute Tracker and T-Scan were used to capture the data.
