Helicoptor Join Up Assembly Fixture
Aerotech Design worked on a major helicoptor tooling program and designed all the major assembly tooling for this particular aircraft. We worked hand in hand with the customer and the manufacturers they selected through their competative tendering process. This Assembly Fixture brings the major aircraft assemblies together and allows an accurate alignment and join up operation. We where responsible for the design and stressing of the Assembly Fixture. We ensured through the design review process that our customer got exactly what they wanted in terms of health and saftey and in jig cycle times. We also produced all the technical file including risk assessments and a jig user manual for training the personnel.
