CFM-565A Thrust Reverse Repair Fixture
The example shown below is for the Hurel Hispano CFM565A thrust reverser. This this was a full design and manufacture package. The fixture is required to allow modifications and replacement parts for the hinges, spigot positions and bushes for the blocker doors to befitted. This is achieved whilst keeping the main assembly in the correct position to ensure the geometrical relationship is maintained.
We scanned all the major location points from an airline provided assembly (with the Lieca laser T-Scan and T-Probe) and then reverse engineered the tool design.
