In Process Verification
Using a wide range of metrology equipment and our highly experienced engineers we can measure all types of components at all stages of the customers production build and will then offer a solution to the process variation. Please see a example of process variation with one of customers.
Aerotech Example:
A large aircraft manufacturer required Aerotech to verify the top and bottom skins on ten sets of a commercial airliner wings to ascertain the accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility of the outer skin profile and current drilled hole accuracy at different stages of wing build.
This was to aid the customer in making a decision on further advanced drilling equipment and new jig design and to enable production times to be reduced. Once this verification was completed and all the results were processed it was found that the outer skin profile was within design tolerances and enabled the customer to go ahead with the new designs which are currently being used in production today.
