Certification;

The metrology team have many years experience carrying out certification and  using the latest metrology methods. Many of these years are within the Aeronautical industry on various jigs and fixtures ranging from small military to very large commercial aircraft.

Aerotech Example:

Aerotech currently assist a leading wing manufacturer  with  there on site recertification that includes wing assembly jigs. Using our metrology equipment we are required to measure all the main assembly jig features, establish a enhanced reference system and rework any out of tolerance features. The recert ensures the jig is within drawing tolerances and therefore improving the quality of the product and so it meets its design intent. The recertification is carried within very short timescales due to very high productivity within the wing build programme which means the customer still meets there production rates.
