Reverse Engineering
Aerotech have a full reverse engineering capabilty with professional competent and highly experienced Metrologist’s and Design Engineers.
We actively support the MRO (Maintanance, Repair and Overhaul) businesses in Aerospace Sector and we also deliver our reverse engineering expertise and capabilty into numerous fields of legacy data collection. Some areas are listed below:

We run a Lieca Laser Tracker with T-Scan and T-Probe technology to capture our data. We form this data into NURB surfaces which we can then use in the world of CAD design tools such as Catia V5 and the like. We then provide design solutions in a digital world. We can model up and replicate the scanned data in 3D for future use.
This process ensures the ability to replicate and re manufacture in the present and the future and this information is never lost.
