Aerotech have an extremely strong core competence within Tool Design and have long term contracts in place with many of the major aerospace OEM’s such as:

BAE Systems
Augusta Westland

We have an extensive knowledge of design applications and solutions that not only cover legacy type tooling solutions, but encompass modern automated tooling solutions. We can provide our customers with design only solutions, which allow them to tender these designs in the market place to acquire the best manufacturing price.

A total of 48 design engineers are employed with a strong tooling and CAD application background. All regulatory areas of Tool Design are covered through the Technical File - which incorporates the following areas:

CE Marking
Fixture Operating User Manuals
Stress Reports
Error Proofing Validations
Health & Safety Requirements

Our design CAD tool sets are:

Catia V5
Unigrahics UGNX
Solidworks
Cadds5
ProE

We also run the Airbus Qchecker software and have the ACE pack Catia V5 environment.

Continuous Improvement and Personal Development

The Company is constantly seeking ways to develop and ensure that employees are multi-skilled, giving us the ability to react to changing customer requirements. Training is an important area of investment for Aerotech Design.
